Towing all four down?

Remove this ad
So I'm traveling in NC this week in my Airstream MoHO and I do a neck straining double take as I see a big $$ 40' motorhome hit the ramp. The folks had a nice STS in tow behind them all four wheels down. My mind wonders what had to be done to be able to accomplish this feat without burning up the tranny?
I think I'd rather trailer my Allante but this intregued me somewhat. I'm sure from the look of the pulling unit that cost was not a factor for this crew.
So, whatdayathink?

Re: Towing all four down?

I believe it is Remco that makes lub pumps for vehicles that you can't normally tow 4 down do to the tranny. Just a guess. See this site
