2006 STS AWD: Cant find Snow Tires

I have a 2006 STS AWD that has different size front and rear tires:

Front: 235/50R17
Rear: 255/45R17

I cannot find snow tires anywhere that can fit this vehicle. Any advice is appreciated.

I do not think you will find a matching set. I had this same dilema on my 05 rwd. GM recommends Bridgstone LM22's. I purchased four 235/50r17 and they worked fine. I plan on pulling ahead in December, and this will be my last GM rwd product for year round use until they improve their traction system. I am hoping awd would not need snow tires

My 2006 STS V6 with 1SC package came with 235/50/17 Michelin Energy LX4 S rated tires. There was a notation on the sticker price that showed that when all wheel drive was ordered that the stagered tires were deleted along with the rear spoiler and ZF steering rack. What model is yours that came with the stagered tires?
For the winter I bought a set of 17" Polished CTS rims off ebay and had Bridgestone Blizzak LM-22. This will be my 5th set of Blizzaks. I have traded cars every 3 years and get a set the first winter. I have been very happy with them. I have used them on SUV's and rear wheel drive cars and never been stuck in the snow.

says about your setup. The difference in the diameter of the two sizes are only .22 inches which is no noticealbe. On my 07 STS4 it comes with the 235/50/r17's on all 4 wheels. So if you were to buy that size in snow tires you should not have a problem. You may want to go to that site and plug in some other sizes and compare to see if there are any other sizes that will work without affecting your speedometer.
