Re: STS V Grill

Hello,
I recall seeing this online somewhere. From what I remember the factory V grill does not fit properly. You always have your aftermarket options.

Thank you,

Re: STS V Grill

nope, it will not fit, I tried to have it done by a body shop and still no luck. ended up with the E&G mesh grille instead.

Re: STS V Grill

I seem to recall that there may be some interference between the functioning of Adaptive Cruise Control and using a grill other than the standard STS grille because the mesh grille blocks the radar waves. That said, my dealer told me they could install either the mesh weave or double mesh weave after my car is delivered (Not with ACC). Neither are cheap! And it's only the upper grille, not both the upper and the lower as shown on the STS-V. I think it improves the looks but plan on around $1500.

Re: STS V Grill

...or better yet plan on buying an aftermarket one for about $400. I have an E&G - it was somewhat of a PITA to put in and took a lot of fiddling to get it to fit right but it does look great.

as mentioned by others, the STS-V grille does not fit without modifications.
