STS-V mesh grill upgrade, Not E&G grill

The E&G ACC mesh grill (1006-0102-05AC) does not have a sunken emblem in the mesh but rather the viewport for the ACC transceiver. When you said "unlike" the non-adaptive pictured above, the only E&G shown above is with adaptive (viewport), the other is a non-ACC grill.

Can anyone find out the correct part number for the factory STS-V mesh grille so that I can order one through my local Cadillac dealership. I was also looking for the part number for the STS-V center caps on the 18" wheels, I have the 18" wheels on my 2005 but they are just the chrome Cadillac emblem I like the look of the ones on the STS-V with the Cadillac emblem on the black background.

also just installed the e&g mesh grille on my 06, and it looks hot. sunkin emblem, adaptive cruise...great piece. for those with adaptive cruise, it's the only way to go unless you cut up the v grille and rig the emblem.

BMBSALES, how long did the installation process take you? I was thinking about ordering the mesh grille also but don't want to get involved with a long, tricky installation. Thanks!

took about 90min. never as easy as THEY say, but not too bad. trickiest part for me was getting the emblem to sit straight in the wire mesh. definitely worth it though.

Not that I noticed, I never use the ACC personally. If I ever find myself on a LONG drive on an OPEN and uncongested road I may - but that would be unusual for me as I live in the Boston area..........

How about posting a pic of your set-up.

I certainly use my ACC in LA/OC traffic daily. Why spend the $$$'s for a specific non-package add-on with no intent to use it?

Been there, done that!! Bought a V grill for my non-V 2006 STS and it does NOT fit. The bumper cover is different on the 2 cars and i am sure GM did this on purpose. So, don't bother wiating for a V grill from GM for this V-clone look......you will need to go aftermarket!! NO QUESTION ABOUT IT!

The grill, yes... looks nice... but don't be perpetratin'.
