I have read the majority of these Forums and still could not find any info on the codes to unlock the DVD in motion. Maybe I missed something! If so please provide me with the solution. Oh and I have a 05 STS.

Codes? this is not a Lexus, you need to buy a lockpick, start reading buddy!

Has anyone with a 2007 STS (V8 w' Mute Button on Steering Wheel) tried Coastal's new Lockpick as is? I'm somewhat interested for my wife's car but know she wouldn't want an extra switch as is needed on 2005-6.

Also, Kudos to Tomm for his efforts - Outstanding.

This lockpick will work on an 05 sts with a toggle switch, correct. How long have these lockpicks been out for and has anyone had any codes come out (service engine soon light)?

Lockpicks have Zero effect on any electrical component other than just tricking the nav unit to think you are not moving to unlock all locked features.

Boy!! I go away for a few months and all heck breaks loose! I had pretty much given up hope for this function. A guy I know that owns an electronics shop that I hadn't seen for a while told me that Coastal Tech finally has a product for my car! He knew it was for the 08 but figured it would work for my car. I have been reading through all the posts and had a couple of questions. Is the lockpick on the Coastal Tech site for the 08 STS the same one that everyone is having success with on their 06 (I have an 06) or is it a different one? Tomm, are you associated with Coastal Tech or do you just do mods on the lockpick and would I be able to get one from you?

Perhaps that is why the V8 STS has the AWD option. For much of the time my navigation shows the car to be out in a field with no road at all!
