I love to drive and really think I am only about 40. Second Cadillac in two years. Spending the kid's inheritance and having fun. Love the car. |

What the heck are you talking about? It's called a survey. Companies spend millions of dollars each year doing surveys like this to see what their clientle wants, so that they can deliver, and turn an even bigger profit. While this is a privately owned website not affiliated by Cadillac, I am sure that the maker of this thread had something called "curiosity" and asked this question. If you don't want to participate, then don't; you are not being forced to.
Are you just making an assumption that all people that can afford an STS fall into that category? You have alot to learn young man (apparantly with your maturity level you must be no older than 12 years old.)
Which country are you reffering to? Last I checked this is a "WORLDWIDE" forum, anyone in the world can access it. So wouldn't that include your own country?
We can debate again in a couple years when you grow up, I'm done wasting my time with you. Now go back to playing in traffic. |

Kinda like politics today and we give too much credence to people like this.
*I* say drive what you want. If you can afford it - more power to ya. Personally I'm 46 and I've been driving Cadillacs since I was 17 years old. I've owned 6 so far and currently shopping for #7 (and still own 3 of the 6 so WHAH!)

Bought the STS for my wife, traded in her Audi A6. I love the STS, much nicer than the A6 in my opinion. Great car. First Cadillac, and I too was swayed by the updated appearance and technology this car offers. Sometimes I'm tempted to trade my vette in for a STS-V, but no way I could go back to under 500hp for myself (my vette is 800+).
I don't feel as cynical as Atrsbest. I do not begrudge the younger generation who can afford and appreciate some of the finer things such a this car. I'm happy to see some young, successful, people appreciating such a car and not just out buying little Japanese imports. I was dirt poor at 21, became successful by perseverance, maximizing my education, sacrificing, and hard work. Now I enjoy the fruits of my labor. I do not recall ever feeling so cynical or envious as Artsbest.
Actually, I think its damn cool to see younger folks here !! |

Actually, I think its damn cool to see younger folks here !! | I got it by being stingy as hell and researching lots of ways to save money and how to get free money.
The only reason why we were able to afford this was because i got a 100% full ride scholarship to the school I wanted, and its basically a "if you dont use it, you lose it" thing. Actually... its a little more than 100%, it comes out to about 115%-ish.
It also helps having appreciative parents (but I am very appreciative of them in return) with some common sense. |

The STS will put down about 50' of rubber if you disingage the TC and crank it up a little. This should satisfy most eager drivers regardless of age. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
