Backup Camera???

Has anyone hooked up a backup camera to the OEM NAV?

Can it be done where it comes on when you put it in reverse?

you could probably piggy back the camera into the aux video input, to trigger it when you back up that will be harder. u could probably do a relay to the backup sensor so when that comes on the camera would, but the bigger problem is tricking the nav into switching to aux mode. it probably be easier to just click the aux button then to figure out the wiring for it.

An even bigger problem than that is when you shift out of park all video but the NAV itself is disconnected. You'd have to start with a Lockpick.

ahh good point. didnt think about that. but that isnt really a problem more then a costly solution just for a backup camera.
