I replaced my Delco battery after it died twice in my garage and the dealer refused to replace it because he said it tested fine. I put in an Interstate MTP-H6 (http://www.interstatebatteries.com/c...287-2147384885)
Fit perfectly and is guaranteed for 84 Months. Interstate's top of the line. I had to have my local Firestone dealer special order it. Cost me $133 out the door after a $10 off coupon. Well worth the piece of mind. My alternator actually drops down to 13 volts after a while and does not stay pegged at 14.5 volts like before.

If that were true, our cars would be running a LS6 or LS7 instead of the Northstar eh?

Good one! The N* is part of Cadillac brand character, a battery isn't. On the other hand, the writing is on the wall with generic 3.0 and 3.6 DI V6's in cadillacs.
