Switchback DRL/Blinker???

Remove this ad
Has anyone ever heard of or used these bulbs? They are for the daytime running lams/front blinkers. They look like they would work. Even if I would need a load resistor or blinker fix box, I think it would be worth it to get rid of the orange/amber DRL's, and make them match all my HID's.

Check them out, there is a couple videos on there that show them in action.

And here is what they offer in blinker fixes.

Re: Switchback DRL/Blinker???

They wont work. Your 3757 (not 3157) are not programmed to stay on when your headlights are on. Note when you turn on your headlights, the Daytime running lights turn off, and then only on to flash. So they would only be white LEDs during the day, which I think would look stupid as opposed to orange, or yellow (what I have.)

Re: Switchback DRL/Blinker???

Yea I didn't think of that, but the 3157 will fit into the 3757 in most applications. Some do require you to rebase it. I think it has been discussed here on the forum before. What kind of yellow bulbs do you have? Led's? Did you do the sidemarkers too?

Re: Switchback DRL/Blinker???

I couldn't find any decent YELLOW Leds. I could only find amber, which defeats the purpose. The sidemarkers were pointless to do, as thjey are a yellow cover.

I have the yellow bulbs in now, with silver coating soi my headlights look FRESH. I do have a set of hyper yellow bulbs I MAY try to see if I can get a more yellow color.
