Driver window switch. Driver door panel.

Hello everyone,

Can somebody tell me how to remove the driver door panel? I have a broken driver window switch, and am getting the new one in the mail. The only way I have found online is with an interiors removal tool, which is $50. I am sure there has to be another way. I have searched the forum and cannot find anything.

There are 2 bolts behind the leather insert on the door panel. The bottom of the insert that is down in the handle flips up for access for the bolts. There is a screw behind a little plastic door in the opening handle and I think that's it. Just check to make sure there are no more screws around the perimeter of the panel and after that it just pops off with some force. If you don't have a panel popper you can use a large flat blade screw driver wrapped in a rag (so you don't scratch the panel or the paint) to pry on the panel. Be careful because the clip at the top of the panel blow the side view mirror breaks easily. I learned that from experience
