Brakes & Rotors

I plan to do a front brake job soon on my 2008 3.6DI. I have decided to go with Hawk HPS but I would like to replace the rotors as well. The ones that are on there have been turned once and I can feel a slight shimmy now when braking quickly from a high speed. Can anyone recommend a quality rotor. I don't want anything fancy like slotted or drilled, just quality. Thanks

Just for grins, you might call a NAPA store to see how much rotors are. I was blown away when I had to replace some on a 01 C5. $48 each BRAND NEW OEM quality. Never had a single problem with them. I raced on them, did the twisty tracks - drags and street use, all without a single hitch. No shimmy, wobble, warping - nothing.

Probably cheaper than getting OEM's turned.
