Question front end noise

Remove this ad
Long thread...sorry! I'm getting a groaning/grinding noise from the front end when we turn into a parking spot. At first I thought it was the steering rack, when we had the front end aligned, to correct the tire wear issues, they had to heat up the tie rod adjustment and they damaged the steering boot. I wired it up and it is keeping the shaft clean and dry. The reason I don't think it's the rack now is that the noise has started when we go over a small bump slowly.

Any thoughts would be great! Of course we are just past warranty!!!

Thanks.

Does it do it at full lock (full travel) or while turning the steering wheel
