Just rinse thoroughly. | LOL, isn't that stuff grout cleaner? If it's the thing with the little chicken or ducky on it...that stuff is very abrasive.
What kind of bugs are you getting on your windshield, anyways? |

Doug | Your car looks amazing. I REALLY like the color and wheels. Glad I could help. I STILL see effects of my process here from OVER A MONTH AGO! |

I was shocked at how easy it was to use and how nice it looked, but it did not last long at all. Like a week..
But then I washed and waxed again with ICE and topped with Meg. #26 and I could tell by how the #26 was going on that it seemed to be sticking better to the paint. Used my UDM to buff it off and wow.. This was on the blue STS.
I think I am going to wash, clay ( real clay ) the bad areas then get some ICE clay, then ICE then top with Gold Class or #26. maybe try to work in the Klasse twins.. but now we are talking 3 days with multi coats and this will be on the white STS. That should hold it for the summer. |

1. Use the Liquid Clay
2. Use the Clay bar
3. Use the Polish
4. Cover with a coat or 2 of the McGuires'
You'll get an awesome finish and with a buffer it will only take a day to do leaving you the rest of the weekend to show it around town. K STS will tell you that the bitches love it. lol. |

After everything is sealed, That's when I top with a good straight wax..
The Clay, Ice clay and Ice are just to get the paint very clean and white and ready to seal up and top off.
I do it once a year per car. After that just GoldClass wash and maybe ICE wax topped with a good straight wax. |

Now HERE's a guy that knows how to take care of the finish! Bravo. Not a single wasted step in the process. Should be done 3 to 4 times a year. Porter Cable and 4 different specific foam pads, and get after it. KUDO's Dude! (#26 is the key ingredient in this mix) |

I got three coats of Klasse sealer on in the past 2 days.. I use sonus acr. spray .. Just a very light mist on a terry cloth bonnet and it comes off. Not easy, but the paint looks wet..
#26 tomorrow. As a side note.. I pulled the front grill from my white STS and painted it white to match the car. Now that is the best mod I have done yet... It was popcorn.
I might see if that chrome paint will look better than the gray on the wifes blue STS. |

Start at the top and slowly remove.
a flat tip screwdriver will pop out the 4 pins ( 2 on each side) and take care on the bottom tabs that might have 3 metal clips that hold the headlight washer tube. If you have that option. I broke one of mine, but superglue worked great fixing it.
Just need to take your time.
I also pushed out the caddy center cap in front of the radar rather than tape that off. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
