Great Autoweek Review. Super Pics!

Easily the best STS pics I have seen.
And the first "Redline" pics we have seen.

Re: Great Autoweek Review. Super Pics!

Those are great pics....at least they actually took them instead of using manufacture provided pics......is the red one a V8 model??? Looks great.

Re: Great Autoweek Review. Super Pics!

These are better shots than in Motor Trend's August issue! Yes, the red car looks like a Northstar model. It has a spoiler (so called because it "spoils" the look of the rear end) and the small chromed badge mounted low and to the left of the licence plate. This would be the "Northstar" emblem. Great review, huh?

Re: Great Autoweek Review. Super Pics!

GM's ofifcial Photos are always so bland.
Those Autoweek pics are great.
Popular Mechanics always has great pics of their road tests also.

Why does Cadillac insist on showing all the new cars in silver?

Re: Great Autoweek Review. Super Pics!

This was a great, straight forward, honest review of the new STS. This Caddy is a far better buy then the LS430 or GS430.
The new Bimmers are just plain ugly. It doesn't matter how they drive if you can't look at the exterior or operate the interior. They are an example of Y-Tech not Hi-Tech. IMO

Re: Great Autoweek Review. Super Pics!

If the V6 can acheive those #'s all the time......I say why go for the 8 when competing against most models. While both #'s are great, I feel like the V6 #'s sort of take away from the V8. I mean I was actually expecting more from the V8, maybe someone can takle a 5.5 to 60.

Re: Great Autoweek Review. Super Pics!

My ETC did 0-60 in 6.6 seconds - and that was fine.. I'd be more than happy with the STS in v6 form. I'm sure somebody will get a better 0-60 time than 5.8 on the v8...

Re: Great Autoweek Review. Super Pics!

I havent looked but can anyone tell me the weight of the new STS V8???? If the 300C has 340;390 with like 4100lbs to boot, Id imagine that the STS actually weighs a little less then the 300 because some have tested the 300 at a 5.8 also.

Hopefully the V doesnt disapoint, (which I doubt it will) I imagine the V going to 60 in 4.6-5.0.
