2005 Sts V6 Hp

Does anybody know how to increase HP for a V6 engine beside cool air intake?
I was kind of upset to see the 2008 STS have better MPG and a whole lot more HP (302).

The '08 has a direct injection engine; that is where the extra horsepower is coming from. Your engine is right around 255, which isn't bad at all.

Yeah you are right 255Hp is not bad but more kick would be a lot better.

Yeah they advertise 302 hp out of the new direct inject 3.5 V-6, but that's 213 cubic inches and 1.41 HP per cubic inch, that's a mighty bold claim for a 6 banger, I'd like to see that on a dyno test. I have the V8 Northstar and am glad for 2 more pistons and a lot more technology behind the engine.

Oh yeah, one more thing, let's see what HP is getting to the drive wheels, that's where the proverbial "rubber meets the road" counts
