Unhappy Noisy ride coming form my 2008 STS-4

When I first accepted delivery for the car, it seemed to ride a little hard. I checked the tire pressue and it was almost 40 PSI!

So now the ride is a little better but this car doesn't seem to ride as quietly over the bumps than my 2005 STS. I guess they may have stiffented up the suspension a bit. I don't have ride control so I'll let the dealer figure it out at the first oil change. But I'm definitley getting a "clunk, clunk" sound on the passenger side when I hit small bumps and I'm not too happy about that!

Hi There.. I know what you are going through I traded a 00 STS for an 05STS and the ride and various noises take a while to get used to. They handle great and are nice cruisers but the ride is harsh and the seats are thin after a few hours. I still like the car but happy I bought it used with 6k miles and didnt pay the insane price they are getting for these new. Good luck and enjoy the car.

I had that problem on my car and after several mechanics I found one that replaced the sway bars and now it is as quiet as new. Hope this helps.
