What life span are you getting on your rear pads?

I have a '05 STS4 V8 with 39k miles on it. One rear brake is constantly squeaking until I apply the brakes then it goes away only to return as soon as I let off? Wear sensor maybe but it is only on one side. Front pads I replaced at 25k miles and they were ready. What miles are you all getting out of your rear pads?

I have an 05 STS4 V8 and also had to change the back pads just before 40 k miles. The front pads last less than 20 k miles.

I changed all 4 pad at around 28K. I thought the rear pads had actually wore faster than the fronts.
