| Intro and fan question
Hey everyone, just wanted to introduce myself. My wife and I just bought an hour ago a used 05 STS4 V8 with a good amount of options. Pretty impressive car, but my first foray into a Cadillac. I've already learned much from reading this forum and the faq. Here is a question: the car is equipped with a heavy duty cooling package. When I popped the hood I thought I saw a mechanical fan? Did my eyes deceive me?
I have the MRC and was surprised at how stiffly the car rode even in touring mode. But since I'm coming from the Trans Am, Grand Prix GTP, Maxima SE world, that's fine by me.
The car also has a heavy duty brake option. Can anyone detail what that is over the regular brakes? Larger rotors?
