Thanks |

I have a 2005 STS4 and I never have this issue, If fact in a few months I only seen traction kick in 1 maybe 2 times. |

I am rwd only and sometimes when I need to take a left hand turn and get out of the way quick... The traction will kick in and I will have my foot to the floor board going 10MPH. Did it yesterday on me. Just seems very easy to engage, must be some type of parameter that the on board gyro kicks it in. I would like to tweak that value. So, next time I don't have to reach down and push the button to disable TC. |

There is a transmission re-flash that is available that corrects this and also eliminates the mis-diagnosed torque converter shudder. It will shift better also. Search the posts as this was addressed here about two years ago. |

I just have to remember to hit the traction button next time I do something like that. I can understand why it's like it is, just wish I could tweak it a bit.. but hey at least I have an override button. |
