This evening as I was putting together the backordered SWITCHED versions of the lockpicks I realized that the harness that I start with was different on the latest batch I received. After a few minutes I made alternations to the harness and on a digital meter everything tested 100% but to make sure I need to get the unit installed and tested. I am done taking apart my STS dash as I have started to get cracks in the wood from removing it so many times. Instead I will 2nd day air the unit to the first person that backordered it so it can be tested before I send the rest of them out.

If all goes good the rest will ship later this week and any new backorders will ship next Monday. Sorry for the delay but I want to make sure there are no issues with the new harness.

Maybe an admin can do that. I did not have your forum user name so I did not know who you were on the board. There is no edit button after a few minutes. If it works there is nothing to look for. If it does not work I will give you a return label and I will have to take my car apart and see what else might be different. I am very confident that all changes that needed to be made were made so if you plug it in (Make sure no Dips are on) put it in drive (Video Will Stay On) once you hit 8 MPH the video should cut off and if you press the override button video will come back and stay on.

i am just glad tomm is still making the parts also and getting them to everyone here! He obviously has the unit down to a science and he is truly working hard for all of us.

Worked flawlessly in the DVD mode!
Haven't yet checked the other modes (BT, NAV, etc) but I'll report back tomorrow.

Thanks so much, easy install with the exception of getting the unit back in.(lack of space for the actual harnesses)

How did the new harness work out? I have an 06STS-4 and I need one of these. I'm getting ready to place the order, but was hoping all the kinks were ironed out.

Received mine today for my 06 1SG and it works perfectly.
Thanks for all the hard work you put into this BIG project!

I'll send a pic of my 3 year old in his car seat grinning from ear to ear while watching Thomas the Tank on his way to daycare.

Tomm,

You have made the most amazing device! Thank you so much for doing it! I just got the Lockpick for my 06 STS and it works flawlessly! I had forgotten how good the Bose speakers were playing a movie in surround sound since up to now, the DVD feature was pretty much useless. It just sounds incredible! And on top of that, I can program navigation, dial my phone, and I now have access to control all my mp3 disc functions?! It is just incredible.
