STS-V Grill vs STS

05-07 V grill will NOT fit regular STS. Bumper covers are different. Do not know about 08's. Get E&G.........it is very nice and good quality!

If your going to to through the trouble of replacing the bumper you might as well get a 2008... Looks much nicer. Keep checking junk yards they will eventually show up.

It has to fit. and those who tell you about different bumpers between V and non V, I can tell you this: Bumpers on CTS V and non V are different, but grill still fits ( any CTS guy can tell you this). So why STS would be different, accept the ones with ACC.

Yes, the CTS/CTS-V grilles are direct replacements.

Remember that the STS-V hood is different also. I have seen an STS with the real Cadillac STS-V grille and there was a terrible overhang on the hood over the grille. Bottom line is that you can install one but it does not "fit".

So would u recommend getting an E&G Grille over a OEM V-Grille?


Buying it through GM is like $150 cheaper then buying a E&G.(GM is charging $362.66)

I found a couple places local but they want over $500.

From the stock pics I seen of the E&G ones, they dont really look like the same type of mesh the V grille has.

Which model name is it?

I gotta get 1 soon, My car is so plain right now.

i am brand new on here. i just picked up a 2007 sts without h.u.d can i place a factory sts-v grill or do i have to purchase e&g? I am getting mixed reviews. thank you for your help

Go for the E & G grill. I also have one and it looks great. I honestly prefer it to the actual STS-V grill, anyways...

I got an E & G grill couldn't be happier. Completes the overall package better than the stock grill.
