Anybody know the exact place the trunk emblem goes?

seriously, how many of these editions do you think cadillac sold? i mean they are having a tough enough time trying to sell 2000 sts's per month. with heavy discounts to boot. i cannot imagine someone shelling out a lot of extra $$ for some bling.

i love this car, no other car i have ever driven has got me enjoying driving like it, but i think for the price diffrence in the cts and sts, the car isnt significantly bigger and better to justify that price difference.

I purchased a new 2008 STS Platinum a month ago. The Platinum trunk emblem is in the lower edge of the trunk lid on the drivers side - where the 3.6L engine emblem is on other models.

I bought my 08 Platinum 6 months ago V8 and I love it.
It is such a pleasure to drive.

18" x 8" chrome aluminum wheels
Unique grille finish
Leather-wrapped interior trim
Olive ash wood with Saddle stain
Premium floor mats
Tuscany full-leather seats

Don't forget the Alcantera (sp?) headliner.

The alcantara headliner was not available for the '08 model. It was added to the '09. Maybe I'm going to replace it one day, I saw some pics and it looked very nice compared to the standard gray fur...

It goes on the trunk, bottom left hand corner.

That would be a great little modification if you could get the old headliner out. You have to remove it through the windshield opening. That's the only way.

Thanks for the information about the removal through the windshield opening. As I have to replace the windshield I should consider to do it at the same time!
