Just playing with the unit today and under AUX... I noticed a option for Video IN/OUT? I know there is no wiring in the Vehicle for an output but wonder if the NAV unit actually has an output within all the pins that are not used? Does everyones NAV show VIDEO IN/OUT? Or just mine? |

Would be great if it was actually an output and I could connect a set of headrest monitors to it. |

I know the chinese version of the STS does have outputs so maybe there is just a different video module. I will have to research this deeper. |

I also think the dealer add on headrest monitors have dvd players built in to them and don't sync with the front screen. Not saying it can't be done and I could be wrong as I don't have them, but from what i have reaad about them, that is the way they are from the dealer. If the SLS has the outputs, it is possible they use the same unit for both cars, just different firmware/software. Even if you find the pins for the outputs, question is whether the firmware/software will let you use them... |
