2008 Grill & Bumber Cover - Easy fit on an 05-07??

Anyone have any idea if its a simple swap to add the 08 bumber cover and grill to an 05-07?

It appears to me that the 2008 bumper cover and grille would bolt right on. The hood and hood trim appear to be the same. I don't think any of the surrounding sheetmetal is different (except side vent) and there aren't any real differences in options that should affect it either. I have a complete 2008 stock grille (upper & lower) that was removed at under 500 miles to install an E&G mesh grille. See the avatar. I'll be way cheaper than the dealer.
If you are going to do the front, do the rear cover also. It's WAY better looking.

Prices are high...Makes you wonder if the grille kits come with navigation systems & touch screen TV's.
But they don't..I guess they have to pay the fancy models on there site that promote the cars alot...

Ya I'm interested in this question myself does anyone have an 08' that they would care to take pictures under the hood to see if the bumper retainers will be located in the same location as the 05-07 models.???

It will fit--especially if you install the new 'bumber bees.'

Hey dont worry I ordered the 08' bumper today along with the grill ($350 for the bumper and $350 for the upper and lower grill) once they are in ill let you know. But today i went to the Don Massey dealership and we took a look at the bumper and it was pretty much the same so we'll see if its a for sure thing

Awesome... How did you get them priced so low? Also, Do you have the part numbers and the source? I love the new look of the 2008's front. I just hope all the fogs, headlights, etc are all the same.. They definately look the same.

Well I get low prices cuz the dealer gives me 30% off all parts i did a couple of favors for my friend and his dealership and now the guys at cadillac think i own the shop. im pretty sure it will fit but the dealer said $350 or so for the factory grill or $500 for the aftermarket E&G grill. I like the look of the new stock front so I kept it stock plus the E&G grill wont really show off the new design of the front end. But i will confirm if it fits when all is done and then put up picks of my car

Ok its offical the 08' front bumper will fit on 05'-07' STS. The guy thats doing the work on my car said that everything fit perfect and then set it off to paint. There was on little thing he noted thou. He said that there was a little gap difference between the hood and bumper. He claims this was very unoticable but also didnt know if this was do to the hood change I made.Oh ya i frogot to mention I put a V hood on. Hopefully the car will be out of the shop on tuesday and ill have photos to share.
