Well I am not sure if it is going to be swappable but it does look like the 2008 AAC is still in the grill see linked picture

Oh 1 more thing I need to add if your going to do this with your sts. You will need to purchase the plastic air dam on the bottom ($90) and the fog lights will need a extra bracket ($50 for both sides) and special clips that hold the top and bottom grills to the bumper ($$dnt know this one)

FYI the 08 rear bumper fits as well but modification to the exhaust will need to be made as well as the addition of a crome piece that goes between the bumper and trunk lid.

What happened with this conversion? Has anyone else tried it?

My front bumber got damaged by some object in the road Friday night and will need to be replaced. Might as well replace with an 08 if it'll fit.

It fits perfectly, nothing has changed as far as body, engine compartment details or anything that would stop you from doing the whole front end, just takes money... I put a V series hood, E&G Classics V Grille and 08 fenders on my 07 STS, It was a fairly simple task and I did it in one weekend, looks KILLER. I just don't want to spend the extra money on the 08 front until I need to due to "hitting a deer" or something like that. But "if" I do need a new front end, it will be the 08 facia and grille for sure. I have 2 extra 08 fenders if you would like them, they are light tarnished silver and brand new, never installed but factory painted.
