Deleting all FOBs when Max # of FOBs learned

Deleting all FOBs when Max # of FOBs learned
I only had 1 FOB for driver 1. I added a second FOB. I followed the procedures to add it and I came up as FOB #4. I need it to be FOB #2 so it prepares Driver #2 settings.

From what I understand, I need to delete all of the FOBs and start over. From what I understand, the procedure is to put a FOB into the center box slot and turn the key 5 times in the door. It is then suppose to start the deletion process. Instead it says Max # of FOBs learn.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

I am surprised no one has ran into this as of yet. Is the only solution take it to the dealer?

All I can tell you is that some of these easy key systems can be the most complicated things to reprogram you have ever seen.
I just did battle with an XLR a few days ago to replace a transmitter.

It might be worth your while to let the dealer fight the battle if it is a warranty concern.
