Three Beeps

Hi Guys, This is a great site and I checl it regularly. I am a long time Cad owner and have just gone from a 99 STS to an 05 STS. I am still getting used to it you know the smaller interior and lower seating.. I do have a question about the keyless entry system, sometimes when I shut it off the system beeps the horn three times, it seems to do this randomly does anyone know what this means?? I have the system set up so normally when I leave the car only the lights flash... Thanks for any info on this......

It's telling you that there is still an active key fob in the car.

Yes, this is correct. You could try replacing the batteries in the fob. My STS was getting confused with this and the "no fobs detected" when I tried to start the car. Also got the message "No fobs detected...run or stop" when turning it off. New batteries helped.
