I just bought a used 2013 SRX luxury package. It did not come with either the driver awareness or adaptive cruise. Can they be retrofitted into the car? If so how? Can I take it to a dealer and have them do it or can I pick up all the parts and put them in myself?
I think it is standard on the Premium. I just traded my 2010 Premium for the 2013 Premium just for those features and many other benefits.... Still under B2B, 56K new, saved over $25k.
I'm 97% sure that either of those cannot be retrofitted to a Luxury Trim. Maybe a Performance Trim, but not a Luxury. (Performance should come with the Awareness Package, and be ready for Adaptive Cruise)
Although, really anything is possible, just the logical spending of money would make more sense to buy the proper trim then to retro fit different tech into a vehicle that isn't set up for it.
