    Base 2014 $319 mo. & $2700 down

Until jan. 31. If you own a GM car it is $2700 down. If not $3700 down.
This is a very attractive lease. But I am struggling with the lack of features. It doesn't even have power lift gate or reverse warning sounds like my gen 1 s did.

The issue is I don't want the sunroof due to loss of rear headroom. If I get a luxury then I have to get a sunroof.

I just drove a base for a loaner when my 10 SRX Performance was in for warranty work. The base is a nice car but too many things not on it for my taste.

Base would be a non-starter for me. Can't add navigation. No steering wheel heater nor seat heaters. And I love the double-row sunroof.

Agreed. I think for me the seat heaters would be the number one reason to get the luxury for $5k more. Second would be HIDs. But you gotta go Performance to get them. Third would be perforated seats to help with sticky pants syndrome in the Summer. Funny how you can get heated seats on the standard ats.

I hear you on this. I wish all manufacturers would make sunroofs an option instead of standard - or at least make 'no sunroof' a special order option. It's the one thing I have absolutely no use for and consider to be a total waste of money.

If I'm not mistaken the base model comes with leatherette seats, not real leather too.

My 2010 Luxury lease is up next month. I kicked tires at the dealership yesterday and decided I didn't want to sink $6000 or so into a new lease for a luxury and still have a larger payment than I do currently. Not sure what I'm going to do. Maybe buy a certified used SRX with low miles. The warranty on a certified 2011 or newer extends the original warranty to six years or 70,000 miles plus continued premium care maintenance. Oh, and 0% interest is available until 2/28/14. Decisions, decisions.

But the 2012-2014s drive so. Much better than the 2010-11s. Go for. 12 if you can they are now 2 year old cars.

is cadillac offering you early termination on your current lease? They usually do plus bonus cash.

    Re: Base 2014 $319 mo. & $2700 down

Yes, Cadillac is offering a "pull ahead" option on the lease and will cover up to three remaining lease payments to terminate the lease early. If I purchased a new one I believe they offer $1000 loyalty cash toward the purchase. The "gotcha" on another lease is I have no trade-in to haggle with.

    Re: Base 2014 $319 mo. & $2700 down

well you dont have to put any money down on a lease if you dont want to. For every $1000 you dont put down it raises the payment $26-30 month.
I did ask my dealership a question when they gave me a price on a performance of $453 month. " Could you do anything with the interest rate?" 5 minutes later he came back with $434 mon. rate had magically dropped from 2.20% to 1.51%.

edit: i may have misread your reply. are you saying if you lease again you wont have a trade in for the next car?

    Re: Base 2014 $319 mo. & $2700 down

No, you understood correctly. I only have the leased car and have to turn it in or buy it by the end of February. So, for a new purchase, I have no trade in. I'm thinking about a certified pre-owned with low miles, maybe a 2013 on which someone else has taken the depreciation hit. Of course, I could always just buy my current 2011 instead of turning it in.

    Re: Base 2014 $319 mo. & $2700 down

The best way to have a Cadillac is to lease it or buy used. Depreciation is awful and has been since the 1930s. If it were me I wouldn't buy your 2011 unless you got a bumper to bumper certified warranty. But would really look for a 2012 or later.
