2012 seat firmness
So here's my issue, I have a 2012 SRX luxurary trim and I really love this car, with the exception that my wife finds the seats to firm. I don't necessaryily agree with her, but would like for her to be comfortable. Have any of you had similar issues or feel the seats are a bit to firm, and if so have you been able to soften the leather, or even found a good and attractive seat cushion add on..

You can't soften leather, and that's not the problem anyway. Aside from having an upholstery shop replicate your seat foam with a softer foam, a cushion is the way to go. There are all different shapes, sizes and materials. A cheap, flat foam cushion will make the seat feel a it softer, without adding much in the way of height/bulk.

Re: 2012 seat firmness
I have the Recaro seats in my CTS Wagon and they are definitely firm, especially for the wife. We bought a square of Memory Foam and cut it to size. Then the wife covered with a interior matching fabric. It blends in and looks good and rises the comfort level.

Problem solved by memory form seat cushion obtained at Costco, it matches the interior leather very well, and the wife loves the added comfort. She was all smiles on most recent trips.
