    BOSE 10 speaker sound system

Can anybody tell me if the Bose 10 speaker (opt. code UQ7) sound system in 2010 SRX Luxury edition has a sub-woofer?

I know where it would be, but I thought I'd ask before tearing the floor apart behind the rear seats!!

    Cheers

yes its the plastic box sandwiched between the rear seat bottom and your foam storage or spare tire insert, you have to lift the back floor way up to see it

One added note. The floor in the rear cargo area is articulated in "two" spots. After you first lift the lid to the cargo compartment in the floor, you'll have to break the Velcro seal at the hinge to see the subwoofer. Then, you'll notice there's a second hinge at the front of the subwoofer compartment.

exactly, except open or separate might be the word i'd use instead of break...lol, kinda makes subwoofer hunting a little intimidating

Yes, it does. And you have nothing to fear - what they meant by 'break' was to open the velcro between the two compartments. That's not a big deal - takes longer to type than anything.
