Navigation address book and clock resets

Just got a 2011 SRX and it's great. But on our first road trip we discovered stored address book (waypoints) do not stay stored when the key is turned off for a while. Also, noticed the Nav Sys clock looses the correct time, appearing to go back several hours. Have an appointment with the dealer next week but wondered if I'm doing something wrong. I'm very familiar with GPS, being a long time Garmin user, but this system is not very user friendly.

    Anyone know:
    1) how many entries (waypoints) can be in the Nav address book?
    2) how to add a waypoint to a route; need to take specific hwy, etc.

Your first issue described is the dreaded Nav/Radio failure issue common to most 10-11 SRX's. It needs to be replaced by the dealer. You can easily find multiple threads around here with more in depth info.
As for your actual first question and second question, aside from driving to that road specifically and forcing the nav to reroute, or setting it as a destination... I don't know what else one can do with the 10-12 Nav system, way-point wise.
