    Compare STS4 to SRX AWD

Hi, I currently own a 2008 STS4, great car but very low to the ground. I am thinking about a newer SRX AWD. How would you compare the AWD? The ride? The over all differences between the two? BTW the Cadillac is the best car I have ever owned. Thanks, Lou

Re: Compare STS4 to SRX AWD

You want to compare a large tank car to a Sport Recreational Xover?

I haven't driven an STS, but I have driven many an SRX, and with it's shorter wheelbase and taller ride height, plus its a 'sporty' CUV, it will ride rougher and sportier than an STS. The AWD I can't compare, but I know Haldex (in the SRX) is one of the best in the business, and it does amazing in inclement weather. I'm thinking the STS has more rear seat space and cargo space, (but I haven't looked at the numbers).
The SRX also has 'sporty' seats, which many people find too hard for a Cadillac (I'll agree, I think the SRX has the hardest seats in the current lineup, but acceptable for extended periods and better than many a seat), and I imagine the STS has really soft 'couch' seats. (correct me if I'm wrong, I've only sat in the sister DTS).
When you turn your car on, does it return the favour? '14 Cadillac ATS Performance 3.6L AWD in Phantom Grey Metallic and Morello Red Interior

Thank you Captain for your reply. One thing I do like and enjoy regarding the STS is the "soft couch seats". To me that's a big plus. If any body else has comments or thoughts it would certainly be appreciated.
