Traded in my faithful 2006 Cadillac CTS Sport last night, she had 101,813 miles and had only been to the dealer once for a failed fuel injector at 49K miles. However I thought the time was right and I came home with a '13 Premium SRX, dealer had added many items like Sport Grille, 20" Chromed Wheels w/ locks, Spare Tire, All-weather Mats, and moulded splash guards. Sticker was $51,080 and the dealer Ed Morse Sawgrass (Florida) knocked $5,000 off using incentives. See Dorina the salesperson if you are in the area, she's very enthusiastic about all the Cadillacs. Didn't get home till late so I snapped a few photos this morning at work, will post better ones later in the Photo area.
The amount of technology built into this machine is overwelming, between the manuals and on-line videos I'm in information overload. Drives really nice and it's really quiet, I can see why they sell alot of these SRX's.
I've like Cadillacs since I was young, parents had 'em and they'd always let me drive it home from the dealer, once I was old enough, but I gotta say that for the first time ever that I remember, I would have been happy bringing home any one of those Cadillacs on that showroom floor. What a turn-around and now they got a redesigned CTS just around the corner and that awesome looking ELR coming, great times for Caddy...............
Congrats on your 13' SRX Premium. Your SRX looks like a beauty! I am happy you are satisfied with the drive and of your vehicle. There is a lot to learn with the technology available to you in the SRX. Enjoy getting to learn your new ride! If you ever have concerns or questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us.
Your SRX looks really sweet! The chrome with the silver really sets it off nicely... please post some more photos of your SRX outside of the shade so we can see it even more clearly with those sweet wheels on it.
Thanks for the welcomes to the SRX area, I'm making headway with learning the controls. Love the way the Cue Audio handles a USB stick filled with MP3 files. The salesperson told me there is a 10GB drive built in, gonna have to figure out how to access that and what it can do soon. I love the colision avoidance systems, the way its sees the lines on the road is uncanny. First night SRX was in garage, on car semi-obstructing right rear and another bottom of driveway, I was easily able to back between them using rear camera system with its guidelines, awesome option to have. My wife over time (many years) has backed into two vehicles (one of them my fathers car when we first met), this will be priceless.
