    Speaker question

We have a 2012 SRX with 8 speakers. Two of these speakers are mounted in the "A" post of the windshield. The concern is that these speakers do not enhance the sound quality as I cannot detect any vibration from them, unless I have the sound turned up pretty loud. My question is this normal?

From Sunny ... I mean rainy central Florida.

    Re: Speaker question

    Hi Wagon,

If you can feel those little windshield speakers vibrate with the sound turned up, you know they're working. I found it helpful to go into the DIC and adjust the base, treble, fade et. to suit my own tastes. Also, the volume (at least in my 2010 SRX) needs to be up around 16-18 to get that rich sound from all speakers. You can program your radio volume to be at any level when you turn it on by using the adjustments on your DIC screen.

They shouldn't be vibrating too much unless you have the tunes cranked, or they are screwed. They're just tweeters up there, for the mid-highs in audio.

yep, they're tweeters. They do their job.

When you're blastin', you hear them without knowing it.
