    Re: I hit a deer

That’s how I feel as well Bill, I think it’s never going to be the same. I asked that question today and told them my concern is that the car is going to have noises it never had before after putting humpty back together again. The guy said they test drive it, yeah, big deal, it’s not the same as it being their own vehicle. I’ll totally know in a day how it’s going to be. I’m hoping for the best.
We are going to shop around with some other carriers and check rates and things like that. You all have given me some great tips so I will definitely use this all to my advantage.
Grand total is $7200 damage. Radiator, A/C unit, hood, headlight, grill, passenger size ¼ panel are all noted to be replaced/repaired. They confirmed I will have all OEM parts except the radiator isn’t Cadillac and the headlight is Cadillac but not new, I guess it’s a refurb part somehow.
I’m now looking at 1st week of April sometime for getting it back.

    Re: I hit a deer

When my CTS got hit in 2011 (while parked), I had the same fears (new noises and the car would never be right). Back then, it had $14,000 damage (lots of rear suspension damage as well as driver's side rear body damage). The shop that did the repair actually did an excellent job, and the car runs fine to this day (112,000 miles, now owned by my daughter's fiancé). Don't let the repair scare you off. Make sure whoever repairs it gives a lifetime warranty on repairs.
