    Voice recognition problem

    I just bought a 2010 SRX Performance. The voice recognition works fine for radio, CD/DVD, NAV, but does not recognize any phone commands. Everytime I try to dial or call a number it tells me "voice recognition cancelled". I had no problem pairing my phone and the hands free works just fine too, it just doesn't recognize voice commands. Does anyone out there have any idea how to fix this?

    The voice recognition software on the 2010's is less than stellar...

    The dealer just replaced the Nav system last month. It doesn't have Washington DC as a default anymore. I told them regarding the voice command they are not sure on how to fix it.

    I don't think its something you can fix. It was only programmed at a very basic level. There's no real way to 'fix' it.
