Air Cirrular issue with heat or cold air NOT USING AUTO.

Srx 2013- I cant seem to block air from coming out of the vent. I tried putting it on air circulation and trying to close the vents. On the road trip, I put TEMP at 74 degree but heat comes out of vent. (NOT ON AUTO TEMP). I have to put it on "LOW" in order for me to get cool air coming out. Anyone else have this problem?

Sirdan, I'm sorry to hear about this concern! I double checked your owners manual for helpful tips and I do see your manual recommends using the "thumbwheels near the air outlets to open or close off the airflow" (page 8-8). Since this hasn't been working for you, I do recommend checking with your dealership for their technical input. I'm not sure if this applies to you, but I also read in your manual that use of non‐GM approved hood deflectors can adversely affect the performance of the Air Vent system.

Please don't hesitate to email me at Katie_Lucille@gmexpert.com for any additional assistance.
