As they say... better late than never.

Hmm that reminds me that some critics were saying the new Camaro was late too ... but GM took their time to got it right and because of that it is the #1 selling muscle car today.

GM ticks me off on this one. Heated steering wheel is a GREAT feature for cold weather climates. On a luxury vehicle, any Caddy, it should be at the very least, available. I would almost say its a deal breaker. I'm glad that I have it on my 2012 SRX Luxury. For comparison, BMW has it as either a standalone option or as part of the cod weather package. It's very inexpensive as a standalone option. Heated windshield/rear window washers should also be readily available. I don't understand why GM can't get this right.

well my 05 STS has it and I love it, even a B/S dodge truck has it, so why would you build something like this and leave this out for 2 years ?? somebody not thinking...

There are those who say with remote start, you can do fine w/o the heated wheel. Just a thought.

Yes it was an oversight... if that option means so much to you then I would recommend you search for a 2012 SRX instead of a 2010-11.

I own a 2010 srx luxury now and previously owned an 08 sts. I miss the heated steering wheel but I more so miss the horsepower. Don't waste your money and wait for a 2012 model. It will be worth it.
