SRX Wood interior trim kit (after market)???

Below is the link to a company that makes wood trim interior kits. This link is for the SRX. While it looks very nice, I'm wondering if anybody has given this a try and what was the result/satisfaction level..

I think OEM is better. I guess I have been around Corvette people for so long, I am saturated with "tacky"....... Some of the things my fellow club members do make even this wood stuff look OK.......

I have also been thinking about investing in this trim kit and I'm glad to see this appear on the forum. I hope we can hear from someone that has installed this kit.

Is there an OEM trim kit? I've not seen one.

I meant OEM, as in the way it came from the factory, without extra do-dads.

Cool Re: SRX Wood interior trim kit (after market)???

I have installed the full kit (includes the extra rear cup holders and surround and the overhead console, factory matched to the original wood color and I'm very pleased with it.

I have installed the factory match kit and think it looks very good. To keep it from being too gawdy I skipped a few of the pieces such as the large piece over the glove box and drivers side dash. The best part of the kit are the additional pieces on the console.

I too have installed the factory match kit. I was worrying about being a little gaudy, so I taped some of the pieces in place before installing them. I ended up using most of the pieces.
I liked the cover for the accessory ash tray, I don't smoke but the new change holder looks better than a hole in the console and the pieces for the steering wheel.
I also think the large piece over the glove box and drivers side dash look good, each there own.

Nice pics SRXDAVE I did not use my ashtray cover as I do not have an ashtry, if it had one I guess the previous owner dumped it? I noticed you did not use the glove box pull cover piece, I used mine but this is the only piece that looks kinda goofy and I might just remove it. I also got the additional overhead kit and the rear cup holder kit and am pleased with the kit overall. I would have posted pics also but I'm rather ingnorant as to how to post them
BTW where did you get the classy looking pedals from??

Another less expensive option...appears to be very similar if not identical.

Re: SRX Wood interior trim kit (after market)???

I went ahead and purchased the kit from Ebay....I think it looks pretty good, though it is not an exact match. The factory wood looks better in my opinion, but for $159 bucks this kit is pretty nice and easy to install. See included before and after pics.

I decided against using the pieces on the navigation for now....I like it better without them, but that is just my preference.

The wife would actually like to cut down on some of the interior chrome colored pieces, as she finds she gets a blast of reflected sun right in the eyes at times from it.

Then perhaps you should get the full factory kit.

Would you happen to have a link or directions? I don't see such a thing on Cadillac's site. http://www.gmaccessorieszone.com/Cad...en-US/SRX/2013
