I purchased a Curt Class II Trailer Hitch delivered to my door for $149.23.
It came with the hitch, wiring harness, and receiver.
Add a ball, and a new fascia closeout, and your good to go.
Total investment $255.00 ($100.00 for the fascia closeout!!!)
I really think it was easier to install than the splashgaurds. 6 bolts.
If you don't mind laying on the ground for a bit, you can cut the GM
accessory hitch price in half. The GM package lists for $499.99 + tax.
I can't imagine that includes labor either.

Re: Curt Class II Trailer Hitch
Hey Jim, i've noticed Curt seems to have two hitches for us, a normal level hitch would appear to fit out the closeout, and a lower slung hitch which would appear to come out underneath the fascia. Any part numbers you might be able to post up for yours?
I purchased and had installed the Curt class II hitch for use with a bike carrier. The instructions say that an additional strap be used between the top of the bike rack and the vehicle. My previous vehicle was a Caddy DTS with a Drawtite class II hitch. I never needed an additional strap with that one. Is anyone else using the Curt class II with a bike rack without the additional strap?
Jim I just installed a curt class III hitch had trouble with holes lining up had to use a deburring tool to enlarge one hole to get bolt started other wise not to bad I interested in where you got the fascis cover dblnautspi
