BTW, you have NAFTA to thank for this (and Bill Clinton).
The Ramos Arizpe plant (and others owned by GM, Ford and Chrysler) were built long before Bill Clinton and NAFTA. Ramos Arizpe was built in the very late 70's and I have heard but can't confirm that the plant has won numerous quality awards within GM.

When we brought ours home from dealership. I poped the rear hatch open and a whole family jumped out and ran into the woods.
    Makes sense now.
