    Clock issues

There are two clocks in the new SRX. For daylight savings, I changed the time on the analog dial with no problem. The digital clock is another story. I change the time on the pop-up touchscreen with no problem. However, every time I restart the car, the time reverts back an hour. It won't hold the change to daylight savings. Any ideas?

Sorry, none. However I find it utterly mystifying that the software in the head unit is not capable of doing the DST changeover itself. Amazing in a state-of-the-art car.

Did you have to set anything for the car to do that for you?

    Anyone else have any ideas?

NOTE - This only works for the non-Navigation systems. This is not an option as listed on Page 73 of the Infotainment System Manual.

I have a 2010 SRX with a digital clock problem. When I set the clock it is fine until I turn off the vehical, then restart the car, the clock will be 5-6 hours off... I called the dealer yesterday with this problem, she is checking into it if any paper work came out on this.. I will let you know when I hear anything... Dave

I had the same problem had to go to dealer to have it reprogramed. At the same time I had Washington D.C showing up as my home state.
Dealer replaced the radio unit. Common problem in the 2010 MY

I had no problem resetting the correct time on my 2012. Perhaps you did not SAVE the new time setting (Manual 5-9 for the 2012). I did not turn on the Auto Adjust feature, but will probably do so when I next refine some of the presets.
    Good luck!

There's your answer. Just had it with ours. It's a 2011 that we bought in January. Dealer said they would update software and if that didn't do it they would have to replace system. Had to replace the system.

Worked out pretty well, the wife got to drive an XTS for the weekend. Well, maybe not so hot, she fell in love with it.

same here, they tried a software update - no improvement, replaced the radio.

makes you wonder if the software update has really fixed it for anyone....

I have had the dealer fix this once before with a software update. The problem has returned and I also note the radio does not stay current with identifying the song being heard over FM bands and I also have the same issue as AllGM with my home state showing up as Washington. I'm in IL. I am going to ask the dealer about replacing the entire unit.
