Captain. I just bought same grill for my blue srx. Have the same problem with grill and gap. How did you fix it??? Help! Thank you
Hey captain thanks for your help. My grill the spot for the emblem was made was off centered. When we lined it up with the center line of the hood the emblem was right in line. Was yours ok?
Mine seems to be ok. I didn't install it myself though, the dealer did. I just had to adjust it after i got home.
Just read another post you were talking about hid foglights. I had my auto trim dealer install the ballasts and bulbs with no mod to the housing. Would you like the info?Much brighter thanmy hid headlights.
That's alright, another fellow on here got his HID's installed too, so it's just the kinds of HID i bought, i guess.
It's ok, i think i will be getting LED fogs anyway. All the colour without pissing off other drivers. More show then go. :bouncy:
Hey Captain, Did you have any success with the change out of the day time running lights with LED's? If so could you enlighten us on how and the heck you removed the stock bulbs. And i know i'm asking a lot pics???
I am actually still stuck on trying to figure out the removal of the Electrical Centre (Underhood Main Fuse Box, behind driver's side headlight.) The other side is accesible through taking the airbox off, which i don't forsee being difficult. But i don't know how to move the Elec Centre without wrecking it! So until i can locate a service manual or a tech that knows how to, i am at a standstill. :(
See my post hereregarding the removal of the electrical center.
Thanks to RStittner, i changed out my awful yellow DRL's for sweet 6000K LED DRL's. :D
An overexposed comparo. (Sorry)
Bulb comparo (7440 LED)
I was also able to confirm AFL equipped models use a D2S headlight bulb. I'm going to be ordering some pronto now! :D
I have just 3 words, Captain...
Fab U Lus!
Nice work. When are the HID fogs going in?
