It may be the American Way for big ticket items like cars but I have rarely heard of it for something this inexpensive. Now go to Mexico and if you don't haggle, they'll think you're nuts.

I know a guy who will haggle over the price of a shirt at Sears, and usually gets a discount.

I have never paid more than the reduced price for XM Radio. I am on my 2nd renewal contract. I will cancell service and listen to free radio before paying their full price.

You should never pay full price with Sirius.

Just try and cancel....they will talk you out of it with amazing offers that will be hard to turn down.

Sirius is all about discount service because they don't want to lose subscribers.

That $77 deal is still a "go." You just have to reinforce throughout the call that you want to cancel because the service is too expensive. Eventually they will send you to an operator who will make you the deal you want.
