    *sniff* *sniff*

    Something seems off to me...

    Yep, smells like a scam.

    EWillard, don't look at this!
Know anybody with HPTuners? They could do a much better job, and you have the ability to be custom tuned to your driving style!

Interesting that that particular chip is "tuned for the particular car shown", but it indicates 2004 - 2010 SRX. That appears to be an excellent waste of $70, plus an opportunity to void your new car warranty.

These things usually plug into a "blank" fuse box slot, which obviously will do nothing. And there aren't too many plug and play chips out there, of which the few are tied to a PowerScanner module. (Like BullyDog or Banks for diesels)

Actually it probably plugs in line with your MAF and adjusts your air/fuel ratio's. It is interesting that they claim every single car they sell this chip for gets the same +50HP and +50TQ gains... D3 sells the same sort of "black box" for the V series cars. If you want to get a chip that adds more power, contact Wait4Me Performance. Jes is usually chilling in the CTS-V forums. Not sure if he has anything for our car, but he sells actual ECM's with custom tunes. It did wonders for my V and best part is you can always put back your original ECM for dealer visits.
