    New srx 2010

    Hello everyone,
We finally got our new SRX back. Yeah!!! If you remember on 12/31/09 after purchasing our new vehicle a deer hit the side killing my doors. I now have gotten it back from the body shop and it looks great. I will now be a SRX driver.

    Re: New srx 2010 PICTURE

Picture of my new SRX. If I did this correctly. This is the side the deer hit. Sorry I don't have the pictures of when it happened. I lost those pictures. But the both side doors had to be replaced.

I hope you all want get tired of me. First I have never had a Cadillac nor an SUV. So, there will probably be lots of questions I will have. My husband and I went earlier to get gas. Looked inside for the button. No button. How is the gas protected from someone stealing it? It is regular gas, right?

Also should I carry the key part of the other remote just in case I lock the remote in the car?

I am just not use to driving a SUV that is one reason we picked the crossover. I have rheumatoid arthritis getting in and out of the car was becoming difficult. Hopefully, this will be easier. It is still a little tall for me. That seems to be the only problem. But maybe I will get use to it.

There is no inside release for the gas cap, and yes...regular gas. No need to carry the "key part"; the car will honk 3 times if you shut the door and leave the fob inside. Be sure to program Onstar's number in your cell phone so "just in case," you can call them to unlock.
