    AT&T Bold and Curve

I want to upgrade my cell phone but before doing so I want to ensure compatability with the bluetooth system in the SRX. When I go to the website GM.Com/bluetooth where you can supposedly check for compatability only my old curve is listed (6310) and no Bold models. I have a feeling it just hasn't been updated but I don't want to take a chance. Does anyone know if there's another site that has a better list?

They don't update the website when new cell phones comes out. The website just contain models that are compatible at that time. More than likely the new model will work fine. I would suggest you explain your concerns to the AT&T salesman and ask to test it out in the parking lot before you buy.

I have an Android G1 sold by T-Mobile and it works just fine with BT. However, I cannot get the voice recognition pass-thru mode to work.

..and be aware what works for some doesn't
always seem to work for others.

My iPhone works fantastic with the voice
    recognition pass-through. However, another
member of this forum, same phone, is unable
to get his to work (or at least that was the
    case a month ago).

I've used my Curve 8330 on a few GM models with Bluetooth (including SRX) and it always connects and has great sound quality. I honestly wouldn't worry about it because most phones these days do great with connectivity.

Only the 'new' iPhone model works with Voice passthrough option.
