    OnStar Calling Minutes Intro Offer

Today I purchased 100 OnStar calling minutes online for $14.99 + taxes that is available under the Exclusive special introductory offer and they roll my initial 30 minutes over and all are good for 1 year. It is supposedly the last day that I qualify to roll them over. I regularly use the Bluetooth connection with my cell phone, but I figured it's nice to have some OnStar backup minutes just in case.

Well after I made the purchase and verified in my SRX that my minutes increased, I see that I can still go online and select to buy more minutes under the same offer. I didn't pull the trigger, but if any of you are heavy OnStar minute users it would seem you could make multiple purchases at the discounted rate. Seems like a decent deal, so thought I would pass along the info.

Re: OnStar Calling Minutes Intro Offer

I have had my minutes rolled over since 2008. I bought
the 2008 CTS a few months before Cadillac introduced
bluetooth capability in them. So, the minutes I purchased
with Onstar were for emergency use.

Now I have true bluetooth capability with the SRX
but I think it's always good to have those Onstar
minutes on reserve just in case one is in an emergency
and has forgotten the cell phone.
