However, the red LEDs on the button do "not" come on. After a remote start, get in the car. You'll feel the heat. If you just touch the seats with your hand, you'll barely feel the heat. This is because there is a thick layer of padding between the seating surface and the heating element. Your body weight is required to compress the padding sufficiently to feel the heat. The heated seats have a 20 min. cycle. After that, you'll need to manually turn them back on again if you like. Funny thing is I just used the remote start today and noticed that the seats heated up. I thought it was strange that the button wasn't lit. As soon as I noticed this, my Service Manager called with this info.
The defroster should also come on if this is set in the "Configuration" menu. The heater comes on to whatever you had it set to when the car was turned off.
